Alisa Lee for Tacoma Metro Parks
Alisa applied for the open seat on the Metro Parks Tacoma Board position 1 after Aaron Pointer, a legendary Tacoma athlete and civil rights advocate, retired from the seat after 24 years on the board. After a unanimous decision by the board, Alisa was appointed to fill the seat on December 20th, 2024. She is running to retain her seat for a full 6-year term.
“This is the achievement of a lifetime for me, I’m so honored and excited to serve Tacoma.”
